Shy to Fly

Guiding shy teens and young adults to a more successful social life.

As a shy person, how annoying is it to hear, “you just need to be more outgoing.” If only it were that simple. Making connections, socially, romantically, and professionally means putting yourself out there and that can be scary. Being shy doesn’t have to prevent you from developing the relationships you truly want, or from enjoying greater success in your social life.

In this therapy group, you will learn how making friends and getting dates can be less scary, more comfortable and more enjoyable.

Questions? Call us!

BEing There Counseling hosts three Shy To Fly groups: one for tweens (ages 12 to 14), another for teens (ages 15-18), and a third for young adults (ages 19+).

All groups are open and on-going, meaning you can join when you want, attend when you want, for as long as you want, and stop attending when you want. We want this to be an enriching experience!

Space is limited, so you must reserve your space for each session. Also, we ask that you provide 24-hour notice of cancellation, to avoid being charged. (This way we can offer the space you give up to someone else.)

A $10 Introductory Session is held periodically to explain the group to new registrants, answer any questions you might have, and help you to see if it is right for you.

Scroll down to the opt-in form below to receive information about the next Introductory Session for Shy to Fly. You will receive a response telling you when and where the next $10 Introductory Session is scheduled.
